BRADT JOINS FORCES WITH LEADING TRAVEL WEBSITE

Bradt Travel Guides has launched a unique partnership with one of the world’s most exciting and innovative travel-planning websites. The award-winning publisher is joining forces with GeckoGo (www.geckogo.com), a website established two years ago to create a global network of people with a passion for travel.
GeckoGo currently reaches more than 625,000 people, and its website contains around 145,000 (and counting) unique travel tips and reviews covering destinations across all seven continents – from Italy to Iran. It works in the same way as Wikipedia. As members travel, they update and add to the website’s information, listing and reviewing their favourite sights, restaurants and hotels to help those following after them.
Bradt’s expert authors will provide the website with key background information about all relevant countries – sections on history, geography, wildlife, etc. Furthermore, there will be regular website articles by Bradt authors, an ‘ask the author’ area, special offers on Bradt guidebooks to GeckoGo members, and joint competitions and other initiatives run by Bradt and GeckoGo.
